In this show I am alone catching us up on all that has gone on since the last show in March. We will take a look at the things that we have accomplished in the news from March to now. We will also take a look at the coming events through the end of the school year. I will take care of the Classic Music Corner and the Pop Music Spotlight. Our Ensemble Spotlight will feature the Combined Concert Band's performance at District Band Festival back in March at Kent County High School.

In this show we have Brandon McGinnis and Kyle Thompson with us to share the news and upcoming events. We also have Brandon and Ethan Jamison joining us for the first time to share March's Classic Music Corner. Robert Dunmyer is also back with us for another show, however this month he is sharing our Pop Music Spotlight. To close the show in our Ensemble Spotlight, we are going to take a listen in on a special presentation.

In this show we have Becca and Brittany back with us to share the news and upcoming events. We also have Robert Dunmyer joining us for the first time to share February's Classic Music Corner. Kyle Thompson is also back with us for another show, however this month he is sharing our Pop Music Spotlight. To close the show in our Ensemble Spotlight, we are featuring to ensembles that will be going to District Solo and Ensemble Festival this month.

This show is a couple weeks late due to our first snow day on the day we were to do the show and since then we have been very busy with High School Assessments and then Final Exams as we finish the first semester. This show is just a quick little show talking about what we have done in the past month and what is coming up as we roll into the second semester of the 2009 - 2010 school year. We will be back with a full show in a couple weeks for the month of February.

From the Band Room at Queen Anne's County HS is a monthly Podcast series presented on the first Friday of the month. It is a is a show that shares the latest happenings in the band program as well as all of our upcoming events. We also dive into a little music history along the way and finish with a spotlight on one of our various ensembles and what they are working on. In this show Brittany and Becca will take a look back at what the band accomplished in November and then share our coming events. Kyle will share more moments in Classical Music History and Steven will share our Pop Music History. We also added a new segment, "A Student Experience" and Jesse shares his experience from participating in the first ever TOB All-Star Marching Band. This month our spotlight is on the Jazz as they prepare for the winter concert.

From the Band Room at Queen Anne's County HS is a monthly Podcast series presented on the first Friday of the month. It is a show that shares the latest happenings in the band program as well as all of our upcoming events. We also dive into a little music history along the way and finish with a spotlight on one of our various ensembles and what they are working on. In this show we will take a look back at what the band accomplished in October. Brittany and Becca join me once again to bring our coming events. I will share more moments in both Classical Music History as well as Pop Music History. This month our spotlight is on the Freshman Concert Band as they go through one of their last rehearsals for the Veteran's Day Ceremony that they will play for on November 11th in front of the Queen Anne' s County Courthouse in downtown Centreville. The final selection also features that Queen Anne's County Concert Choir as we did a combined rehearsal of the patriotic piece that we will perform together.

This month our spotlight is on the 2009 Marching Lions Band as they share the music of their field show "Video Games Experience"
